Dear Juno or any other teenager in this situation, Pregnancy in any situation at any age is a difficult subject for a teen who doesn’t even have their lives setup, having the responsibility for another human beings life is a task for only the strongest. You’re in a relationship things happen, one thing leads to another, maybe you don’t have a condom, maybe your girlfriend is on birth control and you only use that as your protection, next thing you know, you’re teen parents. I have sympathy towards any woman that finds herself being pregnant, at any age, their choice to keep it or abort it is completely up to them. think about all the sacrifices you will have to make as your friends get to live their lives and you're at home with a baby. If I was stuck in your situation, knowing that I have a girlfriend that I love, I would completely make the decision up to her but I would rather keep him or her based on my faith. I took the decision to lay in the bed and have sex and I should be mature enough to take responsibility of a pregnant girlfriend, I would fully commit myself to ensure a good life for the baby. I myself don't have any values in college/university or any high school experience so committing and taking responsibility wouldn't be hard for me. the hardest part would be telling my parents and my girlfriend's parents. The second hardest part would be completing my education and having a job to provide. Bleeker should have been a lot more involved, but like most teenage guys, a baby was just out of proportion. Make sure before you decide to have sex, you have goals, and you put yourself in the mindset and say to yourself “If my sperm ends up reaching an egg to create another human being, I’m going to.” Put yourself right into that mindset before you decide to put it in, realize the action you are going to commit can always end up in a different direction. For Juno, she did a pretty incredible job, except for not realizing how the married couple didn’t want to be together , but other than that, the decision she chose on what to do with the baby was a lot better than aborting it. In my opinion you shouldn’t abort the child unless it’s rape, but in any other case, you laid in the bed so now it’s your turn to start making it for your baby.
